The Pattern Programming Model

In GUI Programming, there are two things you have to focus on. That is;

    GUI Programming = Widgets + Event Handling

  • Widgets: Widgets are the components that provide interfaces to users. This involves creation and laying out on screen.
  • Event Handling: GUI programs normally operate based on user interaction using widgets. User interactions generate events to be handled accordingly. This may involve database access, or internet or file access.
